Past fifteen guests, a birthday at home becomes a building site: borrowed tables, washing up, cooking while people arrive, clearing away until midnight. La Marina hosts birthdays for 10 to 60 people in Agde, indoors or on the terrace beside the river Hérault.
You choose the menu in advance and we handle the rest: table layout, service, birthday dessert presented when you want it. Guests enjoy the evening, including whoever is hosting.
Thirty guests on one single table means conversations that never circulate. We usually suggest linked tables of eight to ten, or one large U-shaped table, depending on whether you want a banquet feel or smaller groups. Children can sit together at their own table, within sight of their parents.
You are welcome to bring your own birthday cake: tell us when booking so we keep it chilled and present it at the right moment, candles lit. Otherwise the dessert from the menu does the job, plated specially for the guest of honour.
Simple table decoration is possible, set up with us before guests arrive. For music and entertainment, talk to us at booking so we can check what works alongside the service and the neighbours, particularly on the terrace at night.

On Thursdays we open by reservation only, for parties of 10 or more.
