It is also the tightest period of the year for restaurants: between 1 and 24 December the best dates go weeks ahead. La Marina hosts groups of 10 to 60 people in Agde and opens end-of-year bookings from the autumn.
The Christmas menu is built with you: seasonal produce, fish and seafood well represented, a meat alternative, a festive dessert. The budget per head is fixed at the quote stage and does not move.
The end-of-year lunch stays shorter and suits companies whose teams work in the afternoon or travel far. Dinner allows a proper social evening, with drinks, a seated meal and a service that takes its time. For a large headcount, dinner also avoids the shift constraints of a midday meal.
A Christmas group menu works better with a limited choice: one starter, two mains including a fish option, one seasonal dessert. That guarantees simultaneous service for every table and a stable budget. Specific diets are noted at booking and prepared separately on the day.
Long-service awards, retirements, the year's results, gifts for staff: these moments sit between the main course and dessert. Tell us the timing you want so the service pauses at the right point rather than in the middle of a speech.
